Existential-Humanistic Case Formulation and Evidence-Based Practice Certificate
The Existential-Humanistic Case Formulation and Evidence-Based Practice Certificate Program is a 12-month certificate program providing in-depth training on existential-humanistic case formulation and treatment planning and the evidence-based foundations of existential-humanistic therapy. The first part of the certificate provides instruction and training on the approach to existential-humanistic case formulation and treatment planning developed by Louis Hoffman and Heatherlyn Cleare-Hoffman (APA Books, 2025). This approach was developed to be both comprehensive and flexible, allowing adaptation to the particular needs of the setting and individual client. The second part of the course provides instruction on how to demonstrate one is practicing consistent with evidence-based practice when utilizing existential-humanistic therapy and the case formulation and treatment planning model covered in the first half of the course.

International Institute for Existential-Humanistic Therapy (China)

Existential-Humanistic Foundations Training Certificate (EHFTC)
This certificate, which will be offered through the TeleHealth Certificate Institute, is current in development. It will be offered as a live training in 2027 and an asynchronous version will be available after the live versions have been completed. More information will be available soon.
